North Antrim TUV MLA Jim Allister commented on the recent news that McAuley Engineering will create 87 new jobs in Ballymoney.

“It is a most welcome change to be able to welcome good news on the jobs front for often neglected Ballymoney. When these are quality jobs in the manufacturing sector, then, so much the better.

“Many congratulations to McAuley Engineering on their £5m investment and vote of confidence in Ballymoney. This is a much needed boost for the town and again bears out the abiding worth of indigenous industry. The local commitment by local people in business can never be surpassed, no matter how generous the packages offered to foreign investors.”
