Traffic alert: NI road closed due to downed electrical lines

A busy road in an NI town has been shut by the PSNI due to dangerous electricity lines.

Police Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon issued the warning on Facebook.

It said: “Due to downed electrical lines Bridge Street Portadown is currently closed.

“Please avoid this area until further notice.”
