Swann issues festive message

MR ROBIN SWANN MLA, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Westminster and Chairman of the Stormont Employment and Learning Committee, has issued his festive message to constituents in which he hopes 2015 will bring better news on the financial front for families.

Assemblyman Swann, who is also North Antrim UUP Chairman and Party Chief Whip, said: “With Christmas trees decorated, tins of chocolates opened and families looking forward to this happy occasion, I - on behalf of the Ulster Unionist Party - would like to wish everyone in the North Antrim constituency a peaceful Christmas, and a prosperous New Year.

“While this year has been a tough year for many, we hope that 2015 will bring better news – particularly for those who will be struggling to make ends meet during an inevitably expensive time of year. Whatever your Christmas entails, I hope it is a happy time spent with friends and family.

“My thoughts are especially with those families in Northern Ireland and throughout the UK who have loved ones serving in our armed forces.

“While the Ulster Unionist Party has made great strides in recent years in the Northern Ireland Assembly, it goes without saying that there remains a long road ahead.

“Importantly, my door is open to those in need of help or support, and I look forward to the challenges of the year ahead.

“Again, I and my Party colleagues wish you, your family and your friends a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year,” said Assemblyman Swann.
