Gaelscoil an Chaistil welcomes children from all or no faith backgrounds - but part of the school ethos is bringing the school community together to celebrate important events in the pupils’ lives.

The school’s Rang 3 and 7 children from a Catholic background celebrated important milestones in their childhood on Tuesday 11th March surrounded by their family and friends.

Rang 7 children celebrated their Service of Light in preparation for their Confirmation.

Rang 3 children celebrated their First Confession.

One parent said: “The services were wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable.”

The school community wishes to thank Fr. Daly and Fearghal, the sacristan, for their help.

A warm word of thanks is also extended to An tAthair Alan Mac Eochagáin who travels each year from Belfast to celebrate with the school community.
