Gaelscoil an Chaistil welcomes children from all backgrounds, religions and culture and part of the school’s ethos is bringing the whole school community to celebrate important events in the pupils’ lives.

The school’s Rang (class) 3 and 7 children, who come from a Catholic background, celebrated important milestones in their childhood on 2nd March surrounded by their family and friends.

Rang 7 children celebrated their Service of Light in preparation for their Confirmation and Rang 3 children celebrated their First Confession.

One parent said: “The services were wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable”.

The school community wishes to thank Fr. Daly and Fearghal, the sacristan, for their help.

A warm thanks is also extended to An tAthair Alan Mac Eochagáin who travels each year from Belfast to celebrate with the school community.
