Mrs Betty Scott, school secretary at St. Brigid’s Primary School Ballymoney, has retired after twenty one years of service.

Mrs Scott and her family were invited to a special assembly to mark her contribution to the school. Every child paid tribute to Mrs Scott through song, drama, poetry and art. Mrs Paulene Kerr made a presentation to Betty on behalf of the Board of Governors. The youngest and eldest child in the school also presented Betty with a gift and flowers. Mrs Scott was secretary since 1992 and, before that, worked in the canteen for six years.
