‘Rural Crime Day’ event at Armoy

PROTECT your home and farm machinery from rural crime.

That will be the message being promoted at Armoy Livestock Mart on the Coolkeeran Road on Saturday October 8 between 10am and 4pm when a ‘Rural Crime Day’ wil be held.

The public can:

* Get free Trailer Marking – bring along your car trailers, cattle trailers, etc and have them security marked by the PSNI.

* Find out more about the Construction and Agricultural Equipment Security and Registration Scheme (CESAR).

* Find out about SelectaDNA as a product to deter criminals and prevent theft.

* Talk to the Ulster Farmers’ Union and NFU Mutual.

* Get Crime Prevention Advice from the PSNI.

* Talk to Your Local PSNI Crime Prevention Officers and Neighbourhood Policing Team Officers.

* Find out about the level of rural crime in your area and tell the District Policing Partnership about your experiences of rural crime

* Meet your Community Safety Partnership representatives.
