Never ones to become complacent, members of the Rotary Club of Ballycastle hosted a membership evening in the Central restaurant.

A plethora of displays, pull-ups and profiles greeted individuals both new and old to create a wonderful mix of nostalgia and enthusiasm. The sight of a Rotary shelter box was perhaps the focal point of our efforts, particularly in light of their urgent deployment to the disaster-stricken Philippines.

District International Chairperson, Matt Porter, was on hand to outline his involvement in the Sand dams project which has seen the provision of clean water to thousands of Kenyan people via a sand filtration system. His presentation certainly raised some very pertinent questions and further served to galvanise the resolve of members to lend their support to this incredible project. To Matt, we are deeply indebted.

As a relatively new service organisation to Ballycastle, we appreciate all the support shown and to our guests, some of whom we hope will become the new members of tomorrow, we extend our sincerest thanks for your attendance.
