The 101st Irish National Christian Endeavour Convention will be held on Saturday 19th September in Carrickfergus Methodist Church.

Mrs Rosemary McDaniel will be installed as All Ireland President of CE at that service in succession to Mrs Jean McGall from Broughshane.

Mrs McDaniel, who grew up on a small farm between Cullybackey and Rasharkin, was educated at the local Primary School at Laboy and Cambridge House in Ballymena. She and husband Trevor met while undergraduates and, following their marriage in 1978, set up home near Ballygawley. Brought to Church and Sunday School, Rosemary was saved at the age of fourteen. Church was to play an important role in her life and still does today. Currently Secretary of her Local CE Union and Assistant General Secretary of the Irish National Christian Endeavour Union, and looking towards the year ahead, she quotes Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, and affirms that God is able to strengthen if we are willing to trust Him.

In 2007/08 Rosemary was honoured with the CE Presidency and is looking forward to serving a second term, visiting Societies, telling children and young people about the need of a Saviour.
