She added that they “have helped shape the aspirations and goals of the children following in their footsteps”.

91% of the College’s students achieved 5 A*-C grades in their GCSE exams, in the summer of 2016.

The school continues to grow in strength and number.

It has built real and lasting connections with other organisations, industries and businesses which have helped the pupils see links between their education and the society and economy they live in.

St. Paul’s guest speaker was Mr Cormac Diamond, who has forged a very successful career in the business sector, manufacturing “Bloc Blinds”, based in Magherafelt.

He spoke to the pupils about “dreaming big” and striving to be “the best”, in whatever path they chose to follow.

His speech reflected his innovative and dynamic spirit, which was inspirational to all, both young and old, present at the ceremony.
