Place in Arts Festival final for Finvoy YFC

Weeks of hard work in preparation for this years YFCU Annual Arts Festival Competition have paid off for Finvoy YFC who have been awarded a place at the prestigious YFCU Arts Festival Gala which will be held in the Millennium Forum in Londonderry on Saturday 31st March.

Arts Festival for Finvoy YFC is one competition which every member of any age group can enjoy taking part and members have been busy rehearsing since early January in preparation for performing in front of the adjudicators in Ballymoney High School on Friday 24th February.

This year’s show “My Big Fat Gypsy Arts Festival” provides lots of comedy, impressive dance routines and caters for a wide range of musical styles. Members would like to thank producer Jonathan Hanna and his team for their hard work, commitment and dedication that they have put into producing this years show. The cast are very much looking forward to performing at the Gala in Londonderry in front of what is sure to be a packed audience.

The action doesn’t stop here either! Finvoy members Martyn Blair, David Dunlop, Stephanie Fulton and Rachel Campbell are busy preparing for this years 3 Act Drama Festival along with members of Garvagh YFC in a joint 3Act Play.

The cast will perform “A Wake in the West” on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th March in Ballymoney High School. Tickets are £7 and can be purchased from either of the club’s Committee Members.

Members of Finvoy will be rounding off their 70th Anniversary year with their Annual Parents and Friends evening which will be held on Thursday 15th March in Finvoy Presbyterian Church Hall at 7:30pm. Everyone Welcome!
