This week organisers released details of some of the stars who will grace the Recreation Grounds stage on Thursday, May 14.

Local dancers from the Victoria Lagan Dance School will wow the big crowd that is expected.

Drumahoe lad O’Keefe (19) shot to fame when he reached the Final of Britain’s Got Talent last year and hasn’t looked back since.

With 150 performances and numerous radio and television slots all over Europe the world really is his oyster.

He is destined for major stardom and he’s delighted he’s on the same bill as Nathan Carter, an artist he admires very much.

Jordan will be performing some tried and tested material to set the mood for the concert, but it is his inarguable talent that persuaded the organisers of the first ever NW200 concert to book him.

Tickets for this concert went on sale last week and sales have been brisk with photographs of tickets appearing on social network sites of happy purchasers!

The musically varied line-up has drawn many compliments and the organisers are promising more surprises.

Local singer Wayne Rodgers has been added to the line-up and will act as a link man throughout.

“Wayne is an absolute wind-up merchant so the crowd will love him and he’s a great singer so we’re delighted to have him on board,” said organiser Brian Moore.

Nathan Carter is also looking forward to the event and it’s hoped he’ll be able to visit the nearby NW200 Paddock area during the day to check out and maybe even get a ride on one of the teams’ bikes.

Tickets are priced at £20 and are available online via ticketmaster at all Ticketmaster outlets.

Alternatively you can purchase them at Trevor Keys Music in Coleraine.

Gates will open at 6.30 on the night. ID is required for those wishing to use the bar. On site there will be food wagons and CD and memorabilia stalls.
