Professor Terri Scott, Principal and Chief Executive of the Northern Regional College has offered congratulations and advice to all students receiving their A Level results today.

In a statement, he said: “While many students will be planning to take up a University place, it is important to remember there are other more affordable education and training routes available through the further education colleges including apprenticeships along with fulltime and part-time foundation degrees.

“At Northern Regional College we offer smaller classes, excellent tutorial and online support, and strong links with employers and competitive fees with payments plans.

“Northern Regional College is holding two advice evening sessions on Monday 22 August and Monday 5 September from 5pm to 8pm on the following campuses: Newtownabbey; Ballymena; Ballymoney, Coleraine and Magherafelt. These events are an opportunity to receive further information and guidance on courses from our experienced staff. We are also accepting enrolments on each of these evenings.”
