New Glebe Rangers boss appointed

Glebe Rangers are pleased to announce that they have appointed Peter Cairns as their new manager.

It comes after Gary Scott quit the post last week amid a horrid season for the club.

Scott said he left due to work commitments following a promotion.

Cairns will face a difficult task to ensure survival in the Belfast Telegraph Championship One as Glebe currently lie bottom of the table.

Glebe have suffered a poor run of results and the new boss will need to revive his confidence-battered troops.

Earlier this season Glebe were kicked out of the Steel & Sons Cup and penalised in the league for fielding an ineligible player.
