SATURDAY, February 26th will see the launch of a new Christian based children’s charity called vision4kids.
Based in Ballymoney, the charity will focus on helping children and young people both in Northern Ireland and around the world wherever there is a need to improve the quality of life.
The charity will focus on four main areas; Education, Health, Welfare (poverty relief) and Spiritual Need. The team behind vision4kids have firsthand experience of fundraising; in 2008 a trek to Mount Kilimanjaro raised £22,000 to help with a building project for a Christian school in Kenya and more recently over £5,000 has been generated to help other Northern Ireland based charities.
The launch night will take place at 7.30pm in Ballymoney Town Hall where vision4kids will be supported by the following artists: Revelation, Kathryn Mitchell, The Monteith Family, John Porter and Rebekah Bell. Please come along and join with the charity in what will be a very special night.
Tickets are priced £10 for Adults; £5 for Under 16’s and can be obtained by contacting Irwin on 07801 287 138. On the night the charity will also launch their website: www.vision4kids.org.
