Ballymoney Borough Council has just released its new Events.etc brochure which gives details of arts and cultural events taking place in Ballymoney Town Hall from January until March.

Organised by Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee and the Council’s Cultural Services, this season’s music programme features some of the best musicians who have performed in the Town Hall over the past few years beginning on 28

January with blues legend Ronnie Greer and his powerhouse band.

Highly revered troubadour of the Irish music world, singer/songwriter Andy Irvine returns on Thursday 5 February and on 11 March, hugely popular Anthony Toner is back on the road with his brand new Album, Miles and Weather. The programme rounds off with the wonderful singer/songwriter Ben Glover on 26 March. All of these musicians promise great evenings of music and song to brighten up the winter months! All performances take place at 8pm. Tickets available from Ballymoney Town Hall.

“Our Generation”, a wonderful exhibition of artwork by students who attend the

Northern Regional College in Ballymoney is on display in January in Ballymoney Museum. This will be followed by the exhibition “Artefacts of Exception: The Best of Ballymoney Museum!” which runs until the end of April.

On Monday 9 February, at the Preview of the Exhibition, Museum Manager, Keith Beattie will give a talk exploring the colourful background to the amazing objects held in this remarkable collection.
