Have your say

DUE to popular demand for spots, the Millennium Forum will be holding one further day of auditions for the youth musical Grease.

On Saturday 4th May from 10am onwards, auditionees can strut their stuff for the final time before casting decisions are made.

We are calling on male and female 14 – 21 year olds who can act, dance and sing. We hope to find both new people who want to join us and also young people who have auditioned previously. At the audition you will be required to:

1.Sing a song of your own choosing. This should be from Grease or in the style of Grease. You can bring a piano accompaniment to support you or sing a cappella.

2.Imitate our choreographers doing a simple dance routine – you will not need to prepare beforehand for this but should wear something comfortable you can move in.

3.Read from the script of Grease – again, you will not need to prepare for this.

For those who make the final cast, you will become a part of an unforgettable and truly inspirational project, joining an all-local youth cast which will perform Grease on the Forum’s stage for three nights, 25th to 27th July.

If you are aged 14 – 21 and believe you have what it takes to be onstage in our production of Grease, telephone 028 7127 2776 to book your audition or email kateg@millenniumforum.co.uk. Booking is essential.

The auditions will take place at the Millennium Forum on Saturday 4th May from 10am onwards Following intensive rehearsals, Grease will be staged at the Millennium Forum from Thursday 25th to Saturday 27th July 2013.
