The Community Rescue Service would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who bought tickets for the beautiful Christmas Hamper they received from the family of missing Ballymoney man Norman Galbraith.

They are pleased to announce Joey McCleery as the winner and the total raised was £326.

Thank you to the family as this will make a big difference to The Community Rescue Service to help them to continue the valuable work they do in the communities.

The Community Rescue Service provide an immediate response in Coleraine, Limavady, Garvagh, Ballymoney, Ballymena, the Ports as well as further afield.

It is a charitable organisation operated by volunteers and was established in co-operation with the Police to support them with their statutory responsibilities for the safety of the general public. Our main support function is crisis intervention, covering 62 km of the River Bann from Lough Neagh (at Toomebridge) down stream to Seaton’s marina, near the Barmouth.
