Mexican Joe Walker admitted had no intentions of making a new video so soon after releasing a DVD around a year ago.

But the lure of the recording studio was too much for Joe and the result is a double helping for his many music fans – a DVD with 18 great songs and a CD with an offering of 12.

Entitled ‘Sing Me Back Home’ Joe reckons this is his best effort so far and with a selection of songs that reflect his love of American country music.

Joe is greatly influenced by the likes of Don Williams, Charley Pride, Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson and the DVD contains some of their recordings including Sing me Back Home, Lay Down Beside Me, For the Good Times and there’s also many more for the buyer to view and enjoy.

Joe’s DVD, produced by the reputable John Thompson Video Productions in Garvagh, takes in some of the popular tourist attractions in the country and is well worth viewing.

The CD was recorded at Pinegrove Studios in Ballymena with the usual professional approach adopted.

This is Joe’s fifth DVD and the best to date, he feels. IN total, he has recorded more than 100 songs and will most likely be back in the studios in the near future to record more.
