THEY might not get the full answer to the question, but that hasn’t stopped Stranocum and District Community Association issuing an appeal for information about the area over the last century.
Not that officials are expecting residents to remember as far back as 1913, but any information that might be stored such as photographs or newspaper cuttings, etc., would be gratefully received.
Leaflets are currently being distributed in the village and beyond stating that the Association want to record what happened in the area over the last 100 years.
The Association are therefore appealing for anyone with stories or photographs to come along to a meeting in the Community Hall this Friday at 8 p.m.
A short programme of entertainment and a light supper will be provided and it is hoped that people will be able to share their memories about people, places and events from the past.
