Did you know that 75 per cent of the craft sold in the Giant’s Causeway Visitor Centre is made in Northern Ireland and that many of the craft items are bespoke and unique to the Giant’s Causeway?

To celebrate and build awareness of the National Trust’s partnership with local crafters and suppliers, the Causeway held a special showcase event recently.

The ‘Meet the Crafters Day’ provided an opportunity for local artisan crafters to meet with shoppers and demonstrate their skills. Bob Kane, Retail Manager, said: ‘Visitors from all over the world were intrigued to see the skill, care and attention that goes into the process of creating such beautiful handcrafts.”
