McLean congratulates new Moderator

Ballymoney councillor Alan McLean has sent his congratulations to the new Moderator of the Presbyterian Church.

“I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate my own Minister, the Rev Ian McNie, on his appointment as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland for 2015/16,” he said.

“It is a real encouragement to me to see a man who preaches the gospel with clarity and conviction each week, take up this new and challenging role.

“I am confident that he has all the attributes to have a successful and blessed year as Moderator.

“It is my prayerful wish that Ian, Ann and the whole McNie family enjoy good health and God’s blessing in the months and years ahead. It is a personal pleasure for me to see Ian appointed as Moderator & I wish him every success in the year ahead.”
