A very fine rocking horse, originally purchased in London 20 years ago, realised top price at McAfee Auctions two night sale last week.

The lady, who was presented with the horse as a child 25 years ago, was needless to say delighted by the price. Competing for the top prize of the sale was a silver cutlery set, which realised £850 and a real surprise on the night, a two part framed early map of Ireland which realised £800, against strong competition in the room and two telephone bidders.

McAfee Auctions is holding a 600 lot sale of ‘Militaria’ in their Ballymoney Sale Rooms on Friday 20th March at 6.30pm. Further details from auctioneers.
