McAfee’s last auction room sale of 2015

McAfee Auctions’ last auction room sale of 2015 is in the Ballymoney sale room this Thursday where, along with a good mix of antiques and general furnishings, paintings, clocks, and silver, there is a very nice selection of superb 18ct, 14ct and 9ct gold, diamond, ruby and emerald rings, along with a selection of ladies gold watches, chains, bangles, pendants etc.

Among the furniture is a very nice slimline display cabinet, a walnut canterbury table, inlaid display cabinet, table and chair sets, small and slimline chests, nice occasional tables and chairs, set of six fine bar backed chairs, oval breakfast table, walnut dressing table, marble washstands etc

Clocks including a longcase clock, granddaughter clock, choice of wag at the wall clocks, wall and mantle clocks etc.

More unusual lots include, 2 school desks, 2 small canons on carriages, choice of barometers, Royal Irish Rifle handcrafted panel, cased six piece silver dressing table set, large hand crafted gypsy cart and horse, art deco style armchair, summer seat ends, boxes of pen refills, two old sporting guns, jewellery, writing and other boxes, lot of old Beatrix Potter books, old photo albums, large carpet square, old drum case set of four framed maps, old brass bell, nice floor safe, 2 old army transistors, old plunge churn etc etc.

Particular interest is drawn to the jewellery section which includes a very fine 14ct gold diamond cluster ring, a very fine 18ct gold emerald and diamond three stone ring, a very fine 14ct gold 4 diamond ring, and a very nice 9ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring, along with gold watches, bracelets, bangles and other jewellery.

Viewing commences on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd December 3.00pm – 5.00pm and 7.00pm – 8.30pm and day of sale Thursday 3rd December from 3.30pm to the start of the sale at 6.30pm.
