McAfee's auction this week

This weeks sale in McAfee's Ballymoney auction rooms is a major 1200 lot plus over two nights, Wednesday, November 23 and 24 at 6.30pm, and while there is a real mix of lots on offer there is a particularly strong emphasis on furniture as the sale includes part one of the contents of Allens Gallery in Portadown. The long established and extremely well known furniture shop has been trading and selling Antique and high quality furniture in Portadown for over 70 years and there is an excellent selection on offer in this sale next week.

Among the many lots on offer are a selection of display cabinets, sideboards, drinks cabinets, bookcases, writing desks and cabinets, lots of ocassional tables and chairs, corner cabinets, scotch and other bedroom chests and other bedroom furniture, two seater benches, corner and other whatnots etc etc. Other lots included are a selection of new divan beds and new mattresses, longcase,wall and mantle clocks, lots and lots of collectibles, fishing rods and reels, paintings,prints and pictures, bells whiskey decanters and other spirits, large and other rugs, lots of books, a large collection of North West and other motor cycling badges, pieces of Jewellery, two gold sovereigns, old coins, old bayonet, collection of coronation ware etc. Outside lots include a VW golf car, kids merry go round, pair of old entrance gates, lots of black pots, alliminium ladders, plunge churn, garden seat ends, rocking garden chair etc etc.
