Mathewson gets '˜Age NI Pharmacy of the Year'

The pharmacy team was recently recognised for its charitable support to Age NI in 2016 during the 10th Annual Ulster Chemists’ Association (UCA) President’s Ball and Pharmacy in Focus Awards in the Crown Plaza, Shaws Bridge Belfast.

Throughout the year, Mathewson Pharmacy has raised money for Age NI by taking part in fundraising challenges and raised awareness of services and campaigns including the freephone Age NI Advice and Advocacy Service to ensure that older people, their families and carers, ensure that older people, their families and carers, are supported with the information, advice and practical help they need.

UCA and community pharmacies like Mathewson Pharmacy have raised £28,000 in the last two years to help Age NI continue its work helping older people throughout Northern Ireland.
