Man treated for burns after fire at Coleraine home

A man has been treated for slight burns after a fire at his home in Coleraine on Sunday.

Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 1:06pm to a report of a fire at residential premises at the Portstewart Road area of Coleraine on Sunday 14th August.

Two Fire Appliances from Coleraine Fire Station were deployed to the scene. One man was treated for slight burns at the scene by Firefighters.

In a statement, the NIFRS said that they are treating the fire as “accidental”.
