‘Youths held female as she was kicked in the stomach’

POLICE in Ballymoney are appealing for information after a report of an assault at the Main Street area on Tuesday 16th October.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “At around 7:30pm, it was reported that a female was held by two males as another female kicked her in the stomach and punched her in the face close to an alleyway in the area. The female’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

“The female attacker was described as approx 16/17yrs, 5ft 3, heavy build, with long, straight red hair, and wearing black-framed rectangular glasses - she will now be missing a tooth, as the victim caught her in the mouth with her elbow as she attempted to break free.
