‘Takeover’ in Bushmills
ON Friday 23rd November, Lloyds Banking Group colleagues will ‘take over’ Bushmills Save the Children charity shop for the day in a bid to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
On the day, the Bushmills team will sort and sell stock with the aim to increase the income the shop made on the same date last year.
In addition, for the two weeks leading up to the event, colleagues will be collecting interesting and high value stock and taking it to their nearest Save the Children store.
In total over 500 Lloyds Banking Group colleagues will take over 100 of the Save the Children charity shops across the UK with the aim of raising over £30,000 to support UK communities.
Save the Children is Lloyds Banking Group’s chosen Charity of the Year. The partnership has funded Save the Children’s Families and Schools Together (FAST) programmes in some of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities.
