Storey MLA welcomes Seacon road markings

North Antrim DUP MLA Mervyn Storey has welcomed further road markings and new siganage at Seacon.

Commenting Mervyn Storey said: “Sometime ago we secured the introduction of a 30 mph speed limit at seacon following representation form local residents. However because of the criteria set down by Road Service it did not extend to the top of secaon hill. Following concerns expressed at the speed of vehicles passing through this area I arranged a site meeting with some of those who live in that area.

“I am glad that Road Service has taken on board the concerns raised and while I would have preferred for the the extension of the speed limit I welcome the new signage and reallinment of the road markings that I trust will be heeded by moritists and that they will regonise that they are passing through an area were people live and work and that their speed will refect that.”
