Post Office bid to renew their DVLA contract: Allister

Speaking on the Post Office bid to renew their DVLA contract, TUV Leader Jim Allister MLA said: “In a rural constituency such as North Antrim Post Office Branches provide an unparalleled service that is central to community life.

“I fully endorse the Post Office bid to renew their DVLA contract which would mean they can continue to provide tax discs and driving licences to the public. This is a front line service that should not be compromised.

“Having received an overwhelming response from constituents I am clear that the DVLA service via Post Office Branches is relied on and appreciated by a great many people.

“On behalf of my constituents and myself I have supported the SubPostmasters campaign to save these services and have written to the government to express this.”
