Nuala delivers £14k to Action Cancer - with Ballymoney help!

SuperValu stores across Northern Ireland recently held a trolley dash event to raise funds for Action Cancers Big Bus mobile screening and health promotion unit. Raffle tickets were sold to shoppers for just �1 each, and a winner at each SuperValu store got the chance to take part in a trolley dash around their local outlet, stocking up on goodies and everyday items. The fundraising event raised �14,000, bringing the total raised by SuperValu retailers for the mobile clinic to well over �1million. The Action Cancer Big Bus was launched in 2006, and since then 35,000 people have used the breast screening and health promotion services on the unit.
