From Garden to Glory

From the Garden to Glory! This title has been given to a series of addresses to be given in Ballymoney Reformed Presbyterian Church (Charlotte Street) from 24th February to Friday 1st March. The special preacher each evening will be Rev. Prof. David McKay.

Prof. McKay is currently the pastor of Shaftesbury Square Reformed Presbyterian Church and lecturers at The Reformed Theological College in Belfast. A native of Portrush, Mr MaKay began his ministry in the Ballylaggan Congregation, Aghadowy, before moving to Belfast. As Professor of Systematic Theology at the Reformed Presbyterian College Mr McKay has a clear grasp of the doctrines of the Word of God.

In his preaching he will be setting forth the message of good news taking us from the fall in the garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve sinned in their disobeying the command of God, to the glory which awaits all who commit their way to Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour.

Everyone is most welcome to come and hear the messages from God’s word, Lord’s day evening 7 p.m. and Monday to Friday at 8 pm.

The week of services will conclude with a service of praise on the Lord’s Day 3rd March at 7 pm when the minister of Ballymoney, Rev. Edward McCollum, will introduce a selection of Psalms following the same theme “From the Garden to Glory.” In the singing of the Psalms we identify with the Psalmist in his various emotions and are brought from the depths of our guilt at sin before God to the delight of heaven as we trust God as our refuge and our strength.

Everyone is most welcome to join us for this evening of praise.
