BALLYMONEY Council officer Liz Johnston has praised work being carried out in Dervock.

Speaking at a Council meeting she said much work has already been carried out in the village by volunteers in preparation for the KK McArthur event and the Olympic Torch run.

She said: “The work is to be commended and that work is continuing with volunteers and the youth group.”
