Carnany assault

POLICE in Coleraine are appealing for information following the report of an assault in the Ballymena Road area of Ballymoney on Sunday (November 25th).

Around 12.30am as a man walked along a path leading from the Carnany Estate onto the Ballymena Road he was knocked to the ground and assaulted by three males.

He was repeatedly kicked around the head and body and suffered severe bruising and suspected broken ribs. The three attackers were described as being in their early 20’s, with the first male being around 5’8” tall of stocky build with short brown hair and was wearing a bright orange coat. The second was around 6’3” tall with dirty fair hair and was wearing a dark blue coat. The third male was wearing a black coat.
