Ballytober PS extension welcomed

North Antrim DUP MLA Mervyn Storey has welcomed confirmation that work is to begin later this month on an extension to Ballytober Primary School.

Commenting after visiting the school and speaking to staff and the contract team involved in the project Mervyn Storey said: “There could be no better start to 2013 for Ballytober Primary School than to see the commencement of their much needed extension. This is something that I have been in correspondence with the NEELB for sometime and the Board is to be congratulated on bringing this project to this point.

“I would also take this opportunity to pay tribute to the principal, staff and Board of Governors of the school in keeping up the pressure on the NEELB that has resulted in this outcome.

“The new facility will be a welcome addition to existing school and will allow the school to grow and develop as it continues to provide education to the pupils from the area.”
