Neeps, tatties and haggis were all on the menu at Ballymoney’s Ullans Centre on Friday as the local Ulster Scots community celebrated the life and work of Robert Burns.

The traditional haggis was piped in and addressed by Alan Wright, Alan Glenholmes, Dale Wright and Victoria Murray.

After the traditional address to the ‘great chieftain o the puddin race’ and toast, guests enjoyed haggis pie and other Burns Night fare.

The event, organised by the Kingdom of Dalriada Ulster Scots Society, was enjoyed by many people who are interested in the Ulster Scots culture and by passers-by who called into the centre on hearing the skirl of the pipes.
