Local police recovered suspected stolen goods worth an estimated £7,000 following the search of a house in the Armoy area on New Year’s Eve.
The house search followed the arrest of a woman on suspicion of shop lifting in the Newtownabbey area.
The Newtownabbey arresting officers worked with their Ballycastle and Ballymoney policing counterparts to arrange the house search which uncovered the huge quantity of clothing, jewellery and household goods.
Police will now sift through and catalogue each item to establish whether or not it has been stolen.
The woman had been arrested in Newtownabbey and was re-arrested in the house following the discovery of the items.
She has since been released on police bail pending as enquiries continue.
