Causeway Coast Peace Group met recently in the comfortable surroundings of Portballintrae Village Hall, when an excellent programme was facilitated by Yvonne Naylor, in “World Cafe” style.

Interesting questions were discussed by the forty members present at tables who changed places after each set of questions, thus ensuring members had more opportunity to interact with each other.

Following the programme Marie Louise McClarey, Fundraising Officer at Corrymeela received £146.37, donated by members. Marie Louise thanked the Peace Group and said this donation would enable Corrymeela to continue its on-going work in enabling a shared future for everyone in Northern Ireland.

In 1965 the Corrymeela Community was established and in 2015 will see 50 years of Corrymeela programmes helping to move society toward social justice, positive relationships and respect for diversity.
