Police seized a car after officers suspected that it was being driven without insurance in the Cushendall area on Monday 05 May. Police enquires into the insurance status are continuing.

Police are investigating a report that groceries were stolen from a shop in Bushmills on Wednesday 07 May. Police enquiries into the suspected theft are continuing.

Police are investigating damage caused to wire fencing at the Bushmills railway. The damage was reported to police on Friday 09 May. Police have asked for information from anyone who may know who is responsible for the damage.

Police recovered a quantity of drugs from a property at Bleach Green and arrested a 20 year old man following a house search. The man was later released on bail as the police investigation continues.

Police received a report that a grass strimmer was stolen from a shed outside a house on the Fairhead Road on Friday 09 May. Police are investigating the matter and have also reminded people of the importance of locking away valuables in sheds and out houses.

Police arrested a 46 year old man on suspicion of common assault following an altercation at Priestland Road on Saturday 10 May. Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Police arrested a 43 year old man on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through alcohol in the Castle Street area of Ballycastle. The arrest came at around 1am on Sunday 11 May.

Detectives are investigating after a suspected burglary at a commercial premises on Castle Street, Ballycastle. It is thought that a scrambler motorcycle, batteries and oils were stolen overnight between Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May.
