Local businessman Jonathan Gault has presented a cheque for £3260.79 to Richard Spratt, the Chief Executive Officer of Fields of Life, for monies raised during his 24 hour sit out in Ballymoney on New Year’s Eve.

The donation will go entirely towards the building of new school in Gulu, Northern Uganda - an area that Jonathan plans to visit this September.

“We give thanks to God for His provision to us in all we do, as the psalmist says in Psalm 93 v 4 & 5,” said Jonathan.

“For you make me glad by your deeds, O Lord I will sing for joy at the work of your hands, how great are your works, O Lord how profound your thoughts.”

Jonathan explained that he is taking a short term mission team out to Uganda in September, visiting existing projects and also Gulu where the new school shall be built . A meeting is taking place on Friday 21st February at 7.45 pm in Dunloy Presbyterian Church Hall for anyone interested in going on a STM trip. For further information speak to Jonathan or his wife Wendy at the shop in Church Street, Ballymoney 028 276 63236.
