Following their hugely successful performance in Ballymoney last year, Len Graham and Jack Lynch make a welcome return to Ballymoney Town Hall on Thursday 28 November for another evening of song, stories and plenty of craic!
Len Graham is one of Ireland’s best known traditional singers who has gained an international reputation, not only for his inimitable singing style, but also for the breadth of his knowledge of Irish folk music. Len has performed at numerous Irish and international folk, literary and storytelling festivals, as well as appearing on many radio and television programmes.
He is joined on stage tonight by actor and storyteller Jack Lynch. A founder member of the Dublin Yarnspinners and Storytellers of Ireland, Jack has also appeared at numerous festivals both at home and abroad. He has twice been the featured Irish storyteller at the Cape Clear Festival and at Gimistory in the Caymen Islands.
A well know actor, he has appeared on television in Fair City, Glenroe and Ballykissangel and his film credits include Angela’s Ashes, The Van and The Snapper, to name but a few.
“To hear such masters as Len Graham sing on just a couple of numbers is like being granted just a few crumbs from the table of a magnificent banquet.” Melody Maker.
“Jack Lynch continues to demonstrate that he is one of the best storytellers and comic actors that we have…” Tom Matthews, In Dublin
The performance begins at 8pm in Ballymoney Town Hall. Tickets £9, concessions £7 are available from the Town Hall 028 2766 0230.
