The Causeway branch of the Alzheimer’s Society is pleased to announce their carer information programme will be held in Ballymoney Town hall, commencing on Monday 2nd February at 7.30pm and running for four consecutive Mondays.

Monday 2nd February: Behaviours we find challenging- Adrian Friel

Monday 9th February: An overview of Dementia- Dr Alastair Murray NHSCT

Monday 16th February: Carers NI (Lyn Campbell)

Monday 23rd February: Dietician

The course has been designed with the practical needs of the carer in mind. Each session will run in an informal, relaxed atmosphere and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and talk with other carers over a cup of tea.

The sessions are free and open to the general public who are interested in finding out more about the different types of dementia, progression of the illness, benefit entitlement, nutrition and learn tactics in dealing with behaviours which we find challenging. On each night an external speaker will be present to present their information.
