The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is calling on local people to get into the festive spirit, get out in the fresh air and support a good cause by taking part in our Santa Fun Run and walk along Portstewart Strand next Saturday, December 5.

Registration for the event starts at midday in Harrys shack and the race/walk begins at 1pm.

Santa’s will run, jog or walk five kilometres along the beautiful beach, some even bringing their canine friends to join in the fun!

Participants of any age are welcome, although children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration is just £10 for adults or £5 for children and senior citizens all we ask is that each Santa raises as much in sponsorship money as they can.

All those who register receive a free Santa suit and a Santa finishers medal, although you can add your own accessories or wear your own outfit, and there are prizes for the best dressed Santa’s and teams.

Cystic Fibrosis affecting over 350 people in Northern Ireland.
