“ Working in a health care environment I have become more aware of what people with various illness go through as a daily regime by taking many different types of medications to help ease pain and treat their illness. The fact that raising money helps towards more research for better treatments encourages me to make an effort to help.
“As a part of the event I am also organising a Big Fat Table Quiz this Friday night (18th February) at the Bush Tavern at 8pm.
“At the quiz there is going to be such a great night of entertainment on with lots of great prizes to be won. Some of the prizes include a Magimix cordless kettle donated by Walkers Ballymoney, Wash, Cut and blow dry from Bleu Hair design, £20 voucher from Sizzling Sausage, MOT Check and Repair (parts up to £50)- Taughey Motor Works. The quiz starts at 8pm and light supper will be provided. Everyone is welcome.
“There will also be a raffle for two tickets for the White Collar Boxing event, which is certain to sell out fast.”

Spike from Scorpion Boxing Club has been training my group, he’s working us really hard which is good and will set us up well for when were in the ring. We’re taking all what he tells us on board and hope all the sparing and knocks were getting pays off on the 25th”.
