Why would the Marie Curie Hospice want a Spin Bike?

Each Inner Wheel Club was asked to provide something with wheels to celebrate 90 years since the worldwide Association of Inner Wheel Clubs with over 100.000 members in 103 countries was formed in Manchester in 1934.

Ballymoney Inner Wheel Club, under the guidance of President Helen Robinson and Marie Curie fundraiser Rosie Campbell, came up with the idea of a Spin Bike for the Physiotherapy Department at the hospice. The Spin Bike, costing roughly £1,000, was bought from the very generous Complete Gyms’ Sales Executive Robert McComb in Ballymoney, with money raised at President Helen Robinson’s charity evening in January.
