The Housing Executive is investing £0.65m in its properties in the Moyle district through heating replacement work.

It is part of an overall investment of £32.4 million in heating installations to 6000 of its homes across Northern Ireland. In the area covered by the Ballycastle Office, 111 Housing Executive homes have had their heating upgraded to a more energy efficient system.

Working in partnership with H&A Mechanical Services Ltd the Housing Executive has now been completed its upgrade in properties stretching from Bushmills to Cushendall. Local Housing Executive Manager, Breige Mullaghan, said: “We’re delighted to bring this upgrade to our properties. The ‘A’ rated boilers being installed will prove more cost effective to run and support the Housing Executive’s commitment to reducing fuel poverty in Northern Ireland.”
