Ballymoney Borough Council in association with the Bank of Ireland welcomes everyone to come along on a leisurely and informative walk on Saturday.
Centred around Vow Garve Farm, which lies in the attractive Bann Valley, participants will have the opportunity to meet landowner Brian Knipe and learn more about how his farm works with the natural environment, as well as exploring the beauty and biodiversity of native hedges. The event will conclude with light refreshments.
Walkers should wear warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy boots or wellies.
The going is relatively flat along farm laneways and fields. Participants can assemble at 1.30pm at Townhead Street Car Park, Ballymoney or at Vow Garve Farm, 81 Vow Road, Ballymoney at 2pm. This event is FREE to celebrate the 2012 Biodiversity Games.
