Halloween fancy dress parade and fireworks next Monday night

Don’t miss The Halloween Parade in Ballycastle on Halloween night this year.

Among the attractions will be fire-poi ( flaming ropes which make pretty patterns) , large puppets, giant creatures, a Big Fat Skeleton Wedding, dancers doing a ‘Thriller’-style dance, people in costumes made in the recent workshops, as well as many people in fancy dress.

If you would like your face painted earlier in the day, please call in to Sheskburn House between 3pm and 5pm where you can have it painted for free.

Moyle District Council Tourism and Leisure Department are offering prizes for fancy dress, so if you would like your costume to be spotted, or simply to take part in the parade, please assemble at 6.30pm at Altananam Park on Monday 31 October.

The parade will depart from Altananam Park at 7pm and finish with fireworks at Ballycastle Seafront 8pm. Afterwards, why not go to the Haunted House, the fabulous ghostly installation created every year by Moyle Gateway Youth and Friends.

The parade is delivered by Moyle District Council with activities funded by Moyle District Council, Moyle Community Safety Partnership and Rethink Waste.
