A programme of entertaining events for Halloween has organised this year by Ballymoney Council.

During the mid-term Halloween break 26th – 31st October the programme of events promises chills and thrills and terror-ific family fun.

The Big Event of the Festival is a colourful Carnival, led by a stilt-walking wizard, with a cast of spooky characters, some with unique masks and lanterns created from recycled materials.

They arrive at the Diamond at 6 pm on 30th October, spooky characters, and fire artists, providing a frightening lot of fun. It would not be Halloween without fancy dress and there will be spot prizes for the best dressed.

Other festival events include Art and Pumpkin Carving Competitions, Treasure Trail, storytelling and films, ghostly walk and errie play. Full programme on website: www.visitballymoney.com
